Boasting two styled bars, the Monkey Bar offers an atmosphere for all tastes. Our main bar is never short of a friendly face, laughter or entertainment.
Our hand picked Staff aren't just 'bar staff', they're an integral part of our business character - independently trained and always on hand for a joke.
Indulge in some Venetian Tapas, listen to local jazz, or just watch the world go by, we've got it all.
Heard the saying, "pub with no beer"? Well, we're a pub with every beer offering one of Sydney's widest selection of domestic and international beers.

Every week we have a range of special offers and entertainment. Check out each day below to see what new and interesting things you can try at Monkey Bar Balmain.
- Tuesday - "MUSSEL UP" or "PIG OUT" with either our $8 Mussels or $20 Suckling Pig. This includes your choice of a glass of wine or beer from a selected list.
- Wednesday - If you become a Monkey Bar Member you can join us for our members badge draw. If it's not won each week it jackpots $50, so you've got to be in it to win it.
- Wednesday - 8.00pm to 11.00pm sit back and enjoy the music of Ric Herbert.
- Thursday - In the bar from 6.00pm till approximately 7.00pm (or until all tickets are gone) you receive a ticket with the purchase of a drink in our fantastic "TJ Meats" Meat Tray. There is also a second chance draw for either three bottles of wine or a case of beer.
- Friday - From 9.00pm till close come and enjoy DJ Alan.
- Saturday - From 9.00pm till close DJ Andy with Tony on bongos will have you dancing to a whole new beat.
- Sunday - Each sunday evening from 7.30 enjoy Sunday Groove Nox.
